Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion will be provided for each webinar attended and will be sent via email in PDF form about five business days after the conclusion of the series.

This webinar is open to the public and offers 6.5 PDHs to Texas professional engineers. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Texas.

This course is approved by the APA American Institute of Certified Planners for CM | 6.5. Full attendance is required for attendance reporting.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend and participate in the entire event and who pass the quiz (80%) that follows the presentation (multiple attempts allowed).

Speakers

George Lueck, P.E.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)

Mr. Lueck, P.E., has 17 years of experience with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). He started his career performing design and surveying for a variety of roadway projects ranging from farm-to-market roads, urban roadways, and high design speed facilities in the Waco district. Mr. Lueck later transferred to the construction division, where he provided oversight to statewide districts in the areas of construction project management, construction engineering, inspection, and contract claims. After serving in this capacity for over 9 years, he transferred to the transportation planning division. As Assistant Director of Traffic Analysis, he oversaw transportation data collection and reporting, corridor-level plans, and travel demand modeling. Mr. Lueck then served the City of Killeen for 11 years as Assistant City Engineer and Director of Transportation. He had oversight of all operations of the city’s transportation system. Mr. Lueck also ensured that the city’s transportation system was planned, constructed, and maintained in a cost-effective manner to effectively address the region’s growing safety, mobility, and reliability needs. For the last 9 years, Mr. Lueck is self-employed as an independent consultant providing services to local governments and civil engineering firms in a variety of services ranging from proposal development/review, transportation plans, dispute resolution, plan review, street, and traffic operations analysis.
