Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Ms. Grubesic is a recognized leader in modular and industrialized construction, known for connecting innovation, manufacturing, and human-centered leadership across the built environment. As the Founder of Offsite Dirt Network, she has helped amplify the voices, technologies, and collaborations shaping the future of offsite construction through industry education, media, and strategic partnerships.

With hands-on experience supporting the development of modular factories, project pipelines, and industrialized construction ecosystems throughout North and South America, Ms. Grubesic brings a practical and systems-driven perspective to modern construction delivery. Her work spans modular development, factory operations, transportation logistics, manufacturing strategy, workforce alignment, and AI-driven construction technologies. Ms. Grubesic currently serves in executive leadership roles across several organizations focused on advancing construction through innovation, including Merlin AI Software, Dynamic Modular Solutions, MSS Consulting and MSS Development Group. Her expertise centers on helping organizations transition from fragmented construction processes into scalable production-based systems that improve collaboration, efficiency, and long-term project outcomes.

A frequent speaker, moderator, and educator, Ms. Grubesic has participated in major industry events including World of Modular, Advancing Prefab, and the International Builders’ Show, while also contributing to podcasts, leadership forums, and continuing education initiatives throughout the AEC industry. Course Title: Transitioning into Modular Construction: Systems, Standards, Costs, and Industry Integration

Course Description: This two-hour course examines the systems, standards, and cost considerations involved in modular construction, including volumetric modular, panelized systems, and manufactured housing. Instruction analyzes the benefits and challenges of modular delivery, and compares costs with conventional construction. The course also addresses applicable building codes and standards, the architect’s role in jurisdictional coordination, and the process, procurement, and cultural shifts required for successful industry integration.

Learning Objectives: 

Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to distinguish between volumetric modular, panelized, hybrid, and other industrialized construction systems and evaluate their applicability to different project types and market conditions.

Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to compare the costs, risks, and lifecycle impacts of modular and conventional construction, including differences in labor, scheduling, and procurement.

Learning Objective 3: Learners will be able to identify applicable building codes and standards for modular construction, including IRC, IBC, HUD code, state modular programs, and factory certification requirements.

Learning Objective 4: Learners will be able to outline the process, procurement, and team alignment changes required to successfully transition a practice or project into modular construction delivery.
