All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Course Description: This 6.5 hour live lecture presentation examines the development of timber frame buildings and techniques, wood species and their characteristics, timber design problems and solutions, structural frame design, roof and truss design, joinery design, foundations, and raising procedures.

Learners will be able to differentiate bent, wall and truss framing.

Learners will be able to describe the technique of mortice and tenon joinery and be able to differentiate types of joinery and their applications.

Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to identify wood species that are typically used in timber frame buildings and describe their characteristics.

Learners will be able to describe types of foundations and their design for timber framed structures.
