Webinar Instructions

Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly recommended that you download, install and test the application before the webinar begins by clicking on the link in the email.

Due to the sudden economic disruption caused by the coronavirus and timeliness of this information, HalfMoon Education is unable to secure attorney CLE credits in most states. However, attorneys licensed in many states are permitted to seek CLE approval after the presentations take place. Refer to specific state rules or licensing board officials to determine eligibility. Continuing Education Credit Information

This webinar is open to the public. It offers CPAs 1.0 intermediate level CPE hour in the area of personnel and human resources. Prior knowledge of employee benefits is beneficial, and no advance preparation for this course is required. Courses taken from NASBA-registered CPE providers are accepted by the NYSED and most accountancy boards.

HalfMoon Education Inc. is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: Sponsor No. 103015.

HalfMoon Education registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a CPE sponsor. This registration does not constitute an endorsement by the Board as to the quality of the CPE program.

HalfMoon Education is an approved CLE provider for attorneys licensed in California, New York, Texas, and Vermont, and this course provides 1.0 CLE hour. This course offers Arizona and New Hampshire 1.0 CLE hour; courses are not subject to preapproval.

Attorneys licensed in the states not shown above have the ability to seek course approval after participation, in most cases. Applications are usually found on CLE board web sites. Contact HalfMoon Education if assistance is needed to apply.

Attendance will be monitored, and a brief knowledge retention quiz will be administered after the presentation (multiple attempts allowed). Certificates of completion will be provided via email upon successful completion of the quiz.
