This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.5 PDHs for
professional engineers, 6.5 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects,
and 6.5 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in all states that
allow this learning method. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

Caroline Burger
Carollo Engineer’s National Stormwater Practice LeadMs. Burger has 23 years of experience working with public and private clients. Her expertise includes urban hydrologic, hydraulic- and nonpoint-source pollution modeling and design, stormwater utility development, and program management. She also helped develop the urban water quality model WinSLAMM. Prior to working for Carollo Engineers, Inc., Ms. Burger led the development of the City of Madison, Wisconsin’s Watershed Study Program. Caroline has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Daryl Norris
Civil Engineer, Floodplain Manager with Norris Environmental Engineering, PLLCMr. Norris is a civil engineer for the City of Greenville, North Carolina, specializing in stormwater engineering, and he is the owner of Norris Environmental Engineering, PLLC. He is a professional engineer, a certified floodplain manager, a certified professional in stormwater quality, and a certified professional in low impact development. Prior to working for the City of Greenville, he worked with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission and the North Carolina Division of Water Quality. Mr. Norris was also the environmental specialist and floodplain administrator for the City of Wilson. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management and a master’s degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering, both from North Carolina State University.

Course Description: This 6.5 hour live lecture presentation examines stormwater management objectives and design considerations, stormwater basin and underground system design, basin types, underground storage system types, and sustainable best practices in stormwater detention and retention.
