With more than 25 years of experience dedicated to the area of construction law, Mr. Baker focuses his practice on the representation of design professionals, engineers, general contractors, and public and private owners. His experience includes providing representation for business and contractual matters as well as disputes before arbitration panels, mediators, and trial courts. He has also acted in the capacity of mediator, arbitrator, and served on project dispute resolution boards on selected building programs and projects.

Mr. Baker’s transactional experience in both construction and design-related matters includes drafting contracts related to project delivery methods as well as drafting building program management agreements and construction management agreements for building programs ranging from $200 million to over $1 billion on behalf of contractors, design teams, and owners. His experience as a trial lawyer is shown by having brought 20 cases to trial for decision or verdict, including venues in 11 different counties in the State of California and trials in multiple federal circuit court districts in California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Additionally, Mike has arbitrated numerous cases in private arbitration on behalf of contractors, owners, engineers, architects, construction managers involving building, and civil works. 

Mr. Baker is a member of the State Bar of California, the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the Southern California Chapter where he is a board member and past Chapter President (2013), and was a founding member of the CMAA, Southern California Foundation Board.

Mr. Fine represents and counsels clients in the construction industry, including owners and developers, general contractors and construction managers, specialty trade contractors, suppliers and manufacturers. He represents clients in adverse proceedings such as litigation and arbitration, and he consults regarding risk management, contract preparation and negotiation, and general business advice. Mr. Fine is the chair of his firm’s Construction Law Group and the past president of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Central Massachusetts. He holds several leadership positions in local, regional, and national construction trade and bar organizations. Mr. Fine was named a Massachusetts “Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine every year since 2017.

Mr. Grosu is a seasoned business and construction law attorney with extensive real-world experience in both industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and a master’s degree in International Business, giving him a strong understanding of the complexities of business operations and construction projects. Before entering the legal field, he worked in a variety of roles within business and construction, gaining valuable hands-on experience. This background gives him a practical perspective on the challenges clients face during operations and project development. As an attorney, Mr. Grosu represents clients in a broad range of business and construction law matters. Mr. Jackowski is chair of the Commercial Litigation North practice at Offit Kurman. Voytek focuses on commercial and corporate dispute resolution, emphasizing rational or cost-effective business solutions. His diverse practice includes international facets of litigation and dispute resolution, and criminal and civil facets of various international income reporting obligations. He has represented entities and individuals in cases involving trade and contract disputes, property loss claims, bankruptcy proceedings, construction issues, commodities and derivatives matters, white-collar crime, personal injury, and claims raising questions under federal labor law. Before joining Offit Kurman, Mr. Jackowski was a partner in the New York law firm of Menaker & Herrmann LLP. Voytek began his career as a prosecutor and later became a Senior Assistant District Attorney with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. He was part of the Money Laundering and Revenue Crimes Bureau and the Rackets Division, investigating and prosecuting business and securities fraud, money laundering, corporate and individual income, and sales tax evasion. Mr. Jackowski frequently lectures and publishes articles on
construction law and litigation topics. He is active in numerous bar and industry associations, including the Construction Law Committee of the New York Building Congress, Building Owners Management Association (BOMA) Professional Development Committee, the International Section of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law, Law Firm Sustainability Network, A/E ProNet, and the European American Bar Association. He is a member of the Construction Law Committee at the New York City Bar Association.

Mr. Nudelman has represented members of the construction industry across a broad spectrum of matters for over 25 years. He works with owners and developers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals to prepare and negotiate contract documents for construction in the New Jersey and New York metropolitan area. Mr. Nudelman drafts, modifies and negotiates customized contracts, as well as contracts based on standard industry forms from groups such as the American Institute of Architects, Consensus Docs and Design Build Institute of America. His construction contracting work helps his clients manage the risk inherent in construction projects so they may adequately protect their interests now to avoid claims and disputes in the future. When claims and disputes are unavoidable, Mr. Nudelman draws upon his wide-ranging experience in construction litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts throughout the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area, as well as in local and international mediations and arbitrations.
