All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. continuing education hours to architects licensed in states that accept non-HSW

Severin Villiger

Over 15 years experience in teaching 3D rendering and 3D modeling

Severin Villiger has been teaching 3D rendering and 3D modeling (SketchUp and Revit) since 2006. He has taught for the Art Institute of Portland, Heritage School of Interior Design, and has presented in-house workshops for architectural, interior design, and landscape architecture firms of all sizes. He has a BS degree in Interior Design, and enjoys using his passion and skill for interior and architectural design to help design professionals transition into the 3D world using SketchUp and Revit.

Course Description: This course explores SketchUp design software and compares it to AutoCAD and Revit. It demonstrates how to work with SketchUp, organize files, and how to view, render and work with extensions

Learning Objectives:

Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to evaluate SketchUp Pro as a design tool and be able to compare it to Revit, AutoCAD and other drafting software.

Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to demonstrate how files are created in SketchUp and how to navigate drawings and SketchUp drawing tools.

Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to add coloring and texturing to designs and perform advanced editing.

Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to view, render and work with extensions in SketchUp and be able rto present final models.
