Webinar Instructions

All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Severin Villiger

Over 15 years experience in teaching 3D rendering and 3D modeling

Severin Villiger has been teaching 3D rendering and 3D modeling (SketchUp and Revit) since 2006. He has taught for the Art Institute of Portland, Heritage School of Interior Design, and has presented in-house workshops for architectural, interior design, and landscape architecture firms of all sizes. He has a BS degree in Interior Design, and enjoys using his passion and skill for interior and architectural design to help design professionals transition into the 3D world using SketchUp and Revit.

Course Description: This course instructs learning on the applications and functionality of Revit software for building information modeling.

Learners will be able to define the practice of building information modeling (BIM) and explain how Revit can be used for this purpose.

Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to navigate the Revit interface and use the software to create a BIM project.

Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to populate the design with basic model elements including walls, doors, windows, floors, stairs and roofs.

Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to create sheets, and work with place views, title blocks and drawing lists.
