Brian Perry

PerryBuilt Consulting PLLC

Mr. Perry is a registered professional engineer focusing on structural and specializing in heavy timber framed construction with modern and traditional fastening systems. He has been in the timber industry for over 15 years. After attaining his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania, Mr. Perry pursued his passion for timber, working as a timber framer in and around the Philadelphia area with local timber framing companies. The experience in the shop and the field, love for the joinery and multitude of layout methods, and continued passion for elegantly defining spaces with heavy timber structural elements has provided him with great insight and ability in designing and engineering structures with heavy timber elements. Currently based in Boise, Idaho, Mr. Perry continues to serve the community in structural engineering as principal of PerryBuilt Consulting PLLC with licenses in twenty-one states, and working with timber framers, homeowners, architects, builders and other structural engineers across the country.
