Green Logic Energy

Green Logic Energy is the Tri-State area’s premier installer of renewable energy systems for residential, commercial and not-for-profit projects. Mr. Clejan’s current emphasis is on developing zero-energy buildings, which combine energy efficiency, solar electricity and geothermal HVAC. He enjoys working with design professionals to minimize the carbon footprint and operating costs of major renovation and new construction projects, without compromising aesthetics or functionality. Mr. Clejan received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science degree from Caltech. He is a NABCEP certified PV Design Professional and an IGSHPA certified Geothermal HVAC Installer.

Egg Geo, LLC

After serving in the US Navy nuclear power field, Jay Egg began a career in mechanical design engineering & contracting. Now, as an expert consultant, Jay sits on several technical code committees internationally; notably the technical committee for the IAPMO Uniform Mechanical Code. Jay has co-authored two McGraw-Hill Textbooks focused on geothermal HVAC technologies and continues to write curriculum and lecture on the merits of Clean Heating and Cooling technologies.

Course Title: Renewable Energy Systems for New York State Buildings

Course Description: This six-hour course will assist design professionals in understanding the current energy situation in New York State and provide strategies, principles, and best practices for incorporating renewable energy systems into buildings in New York with a focus on solar electricity and geothermal heating/cooling.
