All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited. 

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher. 

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Speakers

J. Anthony Cavell, PLS, CFedS

Mr. Cavell lives in Baton Rouge and is a native of Lafayette. “Tony” is a licensed PLS and CFedS. He is a Fellow of American College of Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) and a past president of NSPS and Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors (LSPS). Mr. Cavell is on the Board of Directors of AAGS and associate editor of the Surveying and Land Information Science Journal (SaLIS). He is the surveyor for the LSU Center for GeoInformatics (C4G) & La. Spatial Reference Center (LSRS). Mr. Cavell served on the East Baton Rouge Engineer and Surveyor Selection Board. He provides consulting services, covering GNSS, geodesy, property/ boundary, historical surveying, and education. He was awarded the 2007 Earle J. Fennel Award for Surveying and Mapping Education.
