Pennsylvania Stormwater Best Management Practices 2022
This webinar is open to the public and offers 6.5 PDHs to professional engineers, and 6.5 HSW continuing education hours to architects and landscape architects licensed in Pennsylvania. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Pennsylvania.

Engineers, architects and landscape architects seeking continuing education credit in other states will be able to claim the hours earned at this webinar, in most cases. Refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility. HalfMoon Education is not seeking approval for landscape architects in New Jersey.

The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System has approved this course for 6.5 LU|HSW (Sponsor No. J885). Only full participation is reportable to the AIA/CES.

The Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System has approved this course for 6.5 HSW PDHs. Only full participation is reportable to the LA CES.

Mr. Jones, P.E. is president of Hartech Engineering which was founded in 2007 as a multi-discipline civil engineering consulting firm providing infrastructure, development and municipal design services for the public and private sectors. Bringing over 30 years of engineering expertise along with specific state-of-the-art, computer-aided technology to achieve efficient, cost saving design solutions, he also provides hydrology and hydraulic studies and reports along with general civil engineering support for prime consultants to PennDOT or local municipality projects. Mr. Jones is a licensed pilot and studied Military Civil Engineering while serving in the USAF and continues his Masters education locally through Penn State. Additionally, he is also a registered professional engineer in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Arizona and Georgia.

Course Description: This course examines stormwater permit requirements and procedures, stormwater science and consequences of storm events, post construction stormwater management plans, best management practices, operation and maintenance of stormwater BMPs, and updates to Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection stormwater construction requirements.
