You will have unlimited access to the on-demand video recording, and it will never expire.

All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Jorge Montezuma, P.E.
Principal Consultant/Owner of Wanu Organics PLLCMr. Montezuma leads Wanu Organics PLLC, a consulting firm focused on organic waste recycling and composting, working with clients to develop and improve programs and infrastructure. He has over 13 years of experience working in the public and private sectors. Before Wanu, Mr. Montezuma led the engineering team for Atlas Organics, overseeing design, permitting, compliance, and technical assistance for 13 composting operations across 7 states. Additionally, he worked for NC DEQ, Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts, Smith Gardner, and Peace Corps. He has worked on more than 30 and visited over 100 small and large composting operations across the country. Mr. Montezuma served on US Composting Council (USCC) and NC Composting Council Board of Directors and was an active member of the CA and MD/DC USCC state chapters. He participated in the development of the USCC Model Zoning Template and Guidelines and is a contributor to BioCycle Magazine. Notably, for over a decade, Mr. Montezuma has trained composting professionals through the NC Compost Operations Training Course. He is also a USDA-APHIS Composting Subject Matter Expert assisting in emergency animal mortality events. Mr. Montezuma holds a B.S. in environmental engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a Master’s in agricultural and biological engineering from NC State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in NC, SC, MD, FL, and CO and lives in Hillsborough, NC.
