Ohio’s State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors does not pre-approve continuing education providers or activities.

The Supreme Court of Ohio has approved this course for 7.0 general CLE hours for licensed attorneys.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Anthony “Tony” M. Gregory, PS

Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering Technology and former Department Head at Purdue University Northwest

Mr. Gregory is a Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering Technology and former Department Head at Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, Indiana. He is registered as a professional surveyor in Indiana and Illinois and consults as a Project Surveyor at Abonmarche through their Hobart, Indiana office. Mr. Gregory has presented numerous seminars on various land surveying topics to professional land surveyors, surveying technicians, attorneys, title company officials, and real estate professionals through various settings. He is a member of the Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors (ISPLS), the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association (IPLSA), and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). Mr. Gregory previously served on the ISPLS Board of Directors and is a past society president. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of NSPS and chairs the NSPS Education Committee.

Judge Brad Hillyer, Ret.

Judge Hillyer, Ret. is a Partner with Connolly, Hillyer & Ong, Inc., and Connolly, Hillyer and Welch Title Services. Judge Hillyer is a retired Judge with Tuscarawas County Court, Southern District in Uhrichsville, Ohio. He has more than 45 years of experience in mineral oil and gas law, and is legal counsel for multiple mineral, oil and gas companies.

Amy Kramb

Owner and Operator of Kramb Consulting LLC, in Dublin, OH

Ms. Kramb is an architectural historian who has practiced throughout Ohio for over 28 years. She is passionate about history whether working in the Section 106 realm through her consulting business, sitting on state and local preservation boards, volunteering with her local historical society, or serving as a local council member. Ms. Kramb earned her B. A. degree from The Ohio State University and her J.D. degree from Capital University Law School.

John Kuhl

Partner with Vorys, in Columbus, OH

Mr. Kuhl’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and real estate litigation, including land use and eminent domain. Mr. Kuhl also represents clients in intellectual property matters, including copyright infringement, Lanham Act actions and trade secret claims. He has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout the country and has represented clients in arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. Mr. Kuhl received his J.D. magna cum laude from Capital University Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Curia. He received his B.B.A. from Ohio University where he studied Management Information Systems.

Eric O. Pempus, FAIA, Esq., NCARB

Risk Manager with Design Pro Insurance Group, in Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Mr. Pempus has been a risk manager for more than 18 years, with experience in architecture, engineering, land use, law and professional liability insurance, and a unique and well-rounded background in the construction industry. Prior to risk management, he has 25 years of experience in the practice of architecture and engineering, and as an adjunct professor teaching professional practice courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels for the last 37 years. As a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and AIA National Ethics Council 2021 chair, he has demonstrated his impact on architectural profession. He is a licensed architect, attorney and property and casualty insurance agent.
