Andrew Adams, Vice President and Principal Scientist at W&M, a Division of Braun Intertec Corporation
Mr. Adams is an environmental fate and transport chemist with over 18 years of experience in a wide range of environmental projects. Mr. Adams is recognized and published for his expertise in fate, transport, and degradation of environmental pollutants and consults in the field of Integrated Site Closure of large industrial, petrochemical, manufacturing, terminating, and oil & gas facilities. Mr. Adams has specific experience in the remediation of impacted soil and groundwater, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), brownfield transactions, and voluntary cleanup/corrective action programs. Mr. Adams has additional experience in ecological risk assessments and investigation as it relates to the role pollutants play in exposure, risk, and effects on human and ecological health and has assisted in the development of Environmental Compliance Management programs. Mr. Adams has contracted and managed unique projects in remediation and environmental compliance/permitting regulated by a variety of state and federal regulatory agencies. Mr. Adams has worked on high profile matters such as the Deepwater Horizon incident, the Closure of the Brown & Root Shipyard/Campus, the ITC incident, the portfolio closure of a Fortune 500 company’s liabilities, and the establishment of companywide environmental management structures.
Mark Keefer
Mark Keefer, PG, Senior Scientist at Braun Intertec Corporation
Mr. Keefer is a Professional Geologist who has been providing environmental consulting and remedial design services to public and private company clients across the United States since 2003. He has several years of experience supervising multiple staff, including responsibility for staff development, reviews, financial goals and other supervisory tasks. He has extensive experience in training junior staff in field methods and environmental consulting. He has experience in overseeing and improving quality in both field methods and reporting. He is also an accomplished speaker and presenter, having presented dozens of technical and corporate webinars/live presentations throughout the United States to groups ranging from 5 to over a thousand.
