John T. Banjak
John T. Banjak is a principal and general counsel of True Title Company, LLC, a full-service residential and commercial title agency based in St. Louis, Missouri, and managing member of Banjak & Associates, a law firm specializing in real estate, business transactions and estate planning. John earned his B.S. degree in Finance from Indiana University and his J.D. Law from Washington University in St. Louis. He has extensive experience in all facets of the title insurance & real estate industries from a legal, title underwriting and consulting standpoint. Before opening True Title in 2012, John served as president and general counsel for three reputable St. Louis title agencies and as regional underwriting counsel for a national title insurance underwriter. He also served as senior vice president and general counsel for Pulaski Bank. Prior to entering the title insurance field, John worked as a private practice attorney and as an assistant attorney general for the state of Missouri. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri & Illinois and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Zachary T. Buchheit
Zachary T. Buchheit is an associate at Stinson LLP’s St. Louis office. His practice focuses broadly on commercial litigation, and he is actively involved in matters touching on real estate, government contracts, intellectual property, employment law, product liability, class actions, and financial services. Mr. Buchheit is licensed in Missouri, and he previously practiced as a civil litigator for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
Russell W. Olsen, PLS
Senior Professional Land Surveyor with Engineering Design Source, Inc. in Chesterfield, MissouriMr. Olsen has more than 30 years’ experience as a professional land surveyor, beginning in the Chicago metropolitan area. He is currently licensed as a land surveyor in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Texas. He has been fortunate to have worked on numerous Highway Department/Department of Transportation horizontal and vertical control surveys, land acquisition and topographic surveys, County Transportation Department Plats of Highway, and Municipal Highway Department surveys. Mr. Olsen is currently enrolled in the University of Maine Graduate School in the Surveying Engineering Technology Program. He has a B.A. degree in Mathematical Sciences. Mr. Olsen has presented seminars and webinars previously with HalfMoon Education on topics including Law and Ethics of Illinois Land Surveying, Locating Land Boundaries on Paper (and on the Ground), Complying with Minimum Standards of Practice, Handling Ethical Issues in Land Surveying Practice, Complying with the Illinois Plat Act; and Complying with National Society of Professional Surveyors Creed and Canons.
William R. Wurm
William R. Wurm is an Associate at Stinson LLP’s St. Louis office. His national practice focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on real estate and title. Mr. Wurm is licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and California, allowing him to serve his client’s needs across the country. Mr. Wurm has practiced in house for the nation’s largest title insurance company, as well as multiple, national and international law firms.
