You must take and pass a quiz in order to receive credit. You can take the quiz as many times as needed and there is no time limit on the quiz. Once the quiz is completed, you will be asked to download your certificate.
Videos that qualify for AIA, LACES, ASLA, or CLARB credit will require an extra week for processing.

The video will have occasional question prompts that will not allow the video to progress unless they are answered. You will not be able to skip forward while watching the video.

Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

This webinar is open to the public and is designed to offer 6.5 PDHs to professional engineers and 6.5 continuing education hours to licensed architects in all states that allow non-HSW coursework. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility. This course is not approved for New York licensees.

Joseph W. Delaney PhD P.E. PgMP CCM LEED AP
Dr. Delaney is the Professor of Practice in Construction Engineering/Management at the University of Memphis. He is also the General Manager of the Construction Management Services group at Delaney CMS in Byhalia, Mississippi, and president of Delaney Parametric Design. He is the former president of C&S Design Build Inc., where he started the agency construction management business. At C&S, Dr. Delaney was responsible for more than $1 billion in completed projects in the education, municipal, wastewater, airport, and private development sectors. Dr. Delaney is a licensed professional engineer (New York, New Jersey, and Mississippi), holds the Program Management Professional (PgMP®) credential, is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM®), and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professional. Dr. Delaney received his bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Delaney enjoys sharing his experience leading teams, and he has provided leadership training to senior management including his colleagues at the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Senior Executive Institute and at Fortune 500 companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Inc., and L3 Communications. Dr. Delaney was recently the keynote speaker at the Tri-State Diversity Summit where he shared Delaney CMS’s (a New York State Certified Minority/Woman-Owned Business Enterprise – MWBE) vision for equality and empowerment. Dr. Delaney recently wrote a textbook titled Construction Program Management which was published by CRC Press. The textbook is used to teach undergraduate and graduate students and by practitioners to help them formulate a process-based approach for management of large projects and programs.

Course Description: This examines construction project construction management theory and practice from identifying project delivery methods, project phases, basic legal principles and key provisions, understanding construction program management definitions, and construction program management process groups and knowledge areas.
Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to identify three project delivery methods and will be able to identify and describe five project phases.
Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to discuss basic legal principles in construction, including contracts, terms and conditions, and defaults and remedies, and they will be able to discuss key contract provisions, including project roles, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to identify the describe managing the triple constraints or project management (cost, schedule, and scope) and the triple themes of program management (governance, stakeholder management, and benefit realization).
Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to explain the program management process groups and knowledge areas of cost, schedule, quality, and communication.
