Webinar Instructions
Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly recommended that you download, install and test the application before the webinar begins by clicking on the link in the email.

Continuing Education Credit Information

This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.5 PDHs for professional engineers and land surveyors in Louisiana for whom the subject matter is professionally relevant. 

This webinar has been approved by the Louisiana State Bar Association for 6.5 general CLE hours. 

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Mr. Cavell “Tony” lives in Baton Rouge and is a native of Lafayette. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surveying and Mapping (ACSM), the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), and the American Association for Geodetic Surveying (AAGS); a past president of NSPS, AAGS, and Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors (LSPS). Mr. Cavell as awarded the 2007 Earle J. Fennel Award for Surveying and Mapping Education. He is an associate editor of the Surveying and Land Information Science Journal (SaLIS). Mr. Cavell is the surveyor for the LSU Center for Geo Informatics (C4G) & La. Spatial Reference Center (LSRS) and serves on the East Baton Rouge Engineer and Surveyor Selection Board. He provides consulting services, covering GNSS, geodesy, property/ boundary, historical surveying, and education.
