Director, Glass Collisions Program at American Bird Conservancy

Christine Sheppard has been Director of American Bird Conservancy’s Glass Collisions Program since its inception in 2009. She has created a program to evaluate and rate materials for use in bird-friendly design and glass remediation, authored Bird-Friendly Building Design, led the team that wrote LEED Pilot Credit 55: Bird Collision Deterrence, and has consulted on legislation requiring bird-friendly design throughout the US.
