All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited. 

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 2.0 PDHs for professional engineers, 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects, and 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in all states that allow this learning method. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

Mr. Royle-Grimes has been at the forefront of applying drone technology in industries such as petroleum and power distribution since 2017. He previously developed a youth drone program focused on preparing students and staff for FAA Part 107 certification. Mr. Royle-Grimes also publishes a blog on industrial drone applications, highlighting how drones can save time, reduce costs, and improve safety in engineering and construction environments. Course Description: This two-hour course guides professionals through the process of developing a safe, effective, and fully compliant drone program within their firm. It covers operational planning, regulatory pathways, equipment and software selection, crew and risk management, and the foundational steps needed to build a reliable Part 107 pipeline and organizational oversight structure.

Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to identify appropriate use cases for integrating drones into firm operations and determine the resources required to support them.

Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to evaluate equipment, software, and CPU needs to build a functional and scalable drone program.
