Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Ilena Alvarez is managing partner at The Law Firm of Ilena Alvarez, P.A. She graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law at Western Michigan University with a J.D. degree and an LL.M. degree in Taxation. Her focus of practice consists of estate planning, business planning, guardianships, and probate. She manages her own firm, while teaching paralegals and business majors. Mrs. Alvarez teaches Probate and Introduction to Law in the Paralegal Program at Florida Atlantic University.

Nancy L. Jordahl, ACP, FRP, FCP

Nancy L. Jordahl is a litigation paralegal at Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial. Ms. Jordahl is CLE Chair and immediate past-President of the Central Florida Paralegal Association (CFPA), and Secretary/Treasurer for the Paralegal Section of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA). She is a member of the Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) Enrichment Committee. She authored two chapters of the 2019 NALA Certified Paralegal Exam Fundamentals book (Torts and Clarity of Expression).

Laura M. Reich

Partner at Harper Meyer

Laura M. Reich is a partner in Harper Meyer’s Litigation and Arbitration Group, as well as its Art and Entertainment Law Group and its international law practice. Ms. Reich also serves as an adjunct professor at Florida International University School of Law and instructs paralegals at Florida Atlantic University. She is the current Editor-in-Chief of International Law Quarterly, a publication of the International Law Section of The Florida Bar.
