Megan Huynh
Attorney at Southern Environmental Law CenterMs. Huynh is a senior attorney at the Southern Environmental Law Center in Atlanta. Her work focuses on protecting the swamps, tidal creeks, and salt marshes along the Georgia coast. She received her law degree from Duke University School of Law and her master’s degree in environmental studies from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke.
Katie Morgan
Ms. Morgan, is an experienced and knowledgeable Professional Wetland Scientist located in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has performed various natural resources and environmental consulting services for the public and private sectors nationwide, such as: Wetland Determinations, Wetland Delineations, Wetland Functional Assessments, Wetlands and Jurisdictional Surface Water Boundary Agency Verification, Section 404 and Section 401 Permitting, Permit Violation Resolution, Threatened and Endangered Species Surveys, Biological Assessments, Wetlands and Floodplains 8-Step Analysis, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) assessments, Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, risk-based assessments, and remediation. Ms. Morgan has been responsible for all aspects of project management, project setup, field investigations, development of sampling plans, analytical data interpretation, regulatory interaction, report preparation, and Geographical Information System (GIS) map production.
Austin T. Scarborough
Associate at Harris Beach PLLC in Albany, NYMr. Scarborough’s practice focuses on providing legal counsel to clients such as solar developers and commercial and industrial developers on environmental, regulatory, land use and zoning matters. He also represents clients in projects involving Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) remediation and litigation, brownfield redevelopment, wetlands laws and regulations compliance, protection of endangered species and critical habitats and the preservation of archaeological and historic resources. Mr. Scarborough has worked with solar developers to obtain approvals for multiple community solar projects in New York.
Brianna Schroeder
Ms. Schroeder focuses her legal practice on litigating complex environmental matters, drafting contracts for agribusinesses and farms, and assisting agricultural clients with regulatory compliance and land use issues. Her experience ranges from defending dairy farms against nuisance suits to negotiating solar leases and advising farmers on wetlands compliance. Ms. Schroeder has also litigated environmental insurance coverage, environmental liability, county zoning, and other complex litigation matters throughout Illinois and Indiana, representing a wide variety of clients from large corporations to municipalities to private individuals.
Anthony Zemba, CHMM
Senior Environmental Analyst at Land-Tech Consultants Inc.Mr. Zemba is a certified ecologist, soil scientist, and hazardous materials manager. He assists private clients, federal, state, and local agencies and NGOs in natural resource management, ecological risk assessment, habitat restoration, and biodiversity conservation. Mr. Zemba has managed the Connecticut Wetland In Lieu Fee Program for Audubon Connecticut since 2016.
