All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Continuing Education Credit Information
This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 4.0 PDHs for professional engineers and 4.0 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects in all states that allow this learning method. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility. 

HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for engineers in Florida (Provider No. 0004647), Indiana (License No. CE21700059), Maryland, New Jersey (Approval No. 24GP00000700) and North Carolina (S-0130). Ms. Lord has lived on the Northshore for most of her life and currently lives in Kingston, New Hampshire. She started as the office manager in 2011, running everything from the office to marketing and sales. However, she was promoted to Vice President in 2018 and now focuses mainly on sales. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages from Northeastern University. Ms. Lord is an SPFA and BPI certified professional.

When not at the office, Ms. Lord enjoys being outdoors and will partake in just about any physical activity. She also enjoys spending time with her two children and her dogs. Her energy and positive attitude bring out the best in people. Her life motto? “Life is what you make of it, so make something great!”

Course Title: Evaluating Eco-Friendly Insulation Options

Course Description: This two-hour course will instruct design professionals on how to identify and incorporate eco-friendly insulation options while discussing the environmental consequences of conventional insulation. The course will also reference applicable codes, standards, and guides and analyze specific types of insulation.

Learning Objectives:

Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to identify the attributes and characteristics of a good insulation material.

Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to explain the environmental (and other) drawbacks of conventional insulation materials.

Learning Objective 3: Learners will be able to reference the applicable codes, standards, and guides for eco-friendly insulation.

Learning Objective 4: Learners will be able to evaluate different types of sustainable, eco-friendly insulation, including fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, and spray foam.
