All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Easements and Rights-of-Way
This webinar is open to the public and offers 6.0 PDHs/continuing education hours to civil engineers licensed in most states, and 6.0 PDHs to land surveyors licensed in most states except New Jersey and Delaware. The Tennessee Board of Examiners for Land Surveyors Department of Commerce and Insurance has approved this webinar for 6.0 PDHs.

This educational activity has been evaluated and accredited by The Practicing Institute of Engineering for 6.0 PDHs. It is deemed approved for New York Engineers and Land Surveyors via this accreditation (Regulations of the Commissioner §68.14(i)(2)).

HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for land surveyors licensed in Indiana (License No. CE10600325), Maryland and North Carolina (S-0130).

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has assigned this course number 10262 for surveyors.

HalfMoon Education is certified by the New York State CLE Board as an Accredited Provider of CLE programs.* This nontraditional format course offers 7.0 Areas of Professional Practice CLE hours, which are appropriate for experienced attorneys.

The Texas State Bar has approved this course for 6.0 CLE hours for attorneys and paralegals in the specialty areas of Oil, Gas & Mineral Law and Real Estate Law. This approval qualifies the webinar for Connecticut attorneys. HalfMoon Education Inc. is an approved CLE provider for attorneys in California, Vermont, and Virginia. Arizona and New Hampshire CLE providers and courses are not subject to preapproval.

HalfMoon Education is not seeking course approval for New Jersey or New York land surveyors.

Course completion certificates will be awarded to participants who complete the webinar in its entirety and earn a score of 80% on the quiz that follows the instruction (multiple attempts allowed).

Meridian Land Consulting, LLC

Mr. Kent is in his 39th year with Schneider Geomatics in Indianapolis – having transitioned to part-time status in 2020. He also provides training, consulting and expert witness services as manager and owner of Meridian Land Consulting, LLC. Mr. Kent has served as chair of the Joint ALTA/NSPS Committee responsible for the ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey standards since 1995. He has also served on the Indiana State Board of Registration for Professional Surveyors since 2004 and is a past president of both ACSM and the Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors. Mr. Kent has presented programs on boundary law, easements and rights of way, surveying standards and practice, and leadership in all 50 states.
