Vice President, New York -Bright Power Inc.

Mr. Shah is the Vice President of Existing Buildings at Bright Power where he runs Energy Audit, Energy Management Services and Retrofit Consulting and Implementation teams, overseeing existing building energy audits, retro-commissioning, feasibility studies, and the design and installation of energy and water retrofits. Punit has over 13 years of experience in the industry and relies on his knowledge of building science and energy efficiency to investigate and solve complex energy and water issues in buildings. He received his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune, India and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit. Punit lives in New Jersey with his wife, and two kids.

Course Description:
This two-hour course explores improvements to HVAC systems. Strategies of focus include reducing the heating/cooling loads, improving air distribution, recovering and reusing refrigerant, and the use of efficient controls.
