All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Ali Seyedkavoosi, Ph.D. MBA

Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee at Martin

Dr. Ali Seyedkavoosi is an assistant professor in the Engineering Department at the University of Tennessee, Martin, where he teaches a variety of courses, including advanced strength of materials, finite element lab, machine design, and materials and composite modeling. His related areas of research include material behavior prediction, additive manufacturing, the design of composite structures, and robotics, with an emphasis on robotics applications in the manufacturing, construction, and healthcare industries, to name a few. He also holds an MBA degree and does business consulting for different local industries. Prior to coming to UT-Martin in 2019, he worked as a project engineer and assistant project manager for different industrial projects, including food industry, construction industry, and cement industry. Dr. Seyedkavoosi earned his MBA from the University of Tennessee and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from New Mexico State University.

Course Description: This two-hour course for design professionals will explain the history, development and building applications of 3D printing technology before focusing on the materials and techniques of constructing a 3D printed building. The course concludes with an analysis of the anticipated developments in 3D printed construction.
