David Barron

Mr. Barron has worked in the plumbing industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience in operations, training, repairs and maintenance.  He has installed countless water service systems and repairs, water distribution systems and repairs, DWV systems and repairs, gas piping systems and repairs, gas/electric/tankless water heater installations and repairs, and thousands of plumbing maintenance (tune-ups) reports. Mr. Barron’s professional licenses and certificates include Tennessee Limited License Plumber, Electrical Certificate, Major Appliance Repair Certificate, Universal EPA License, Certified Residential Water Heater Technician, Rinnai Certified Tankless Trainer (Level 3), Certified Cross Connection Tester, GasTite Qualified Installer, and TracPipe Counterstrike Qualified Installer. While he has a love for plumbing, Mr. Barron also enjoys spending time with my family kayaking and hiking the trails in Tennessee. Pickle Ball has recently become his favorite activity!

Course Title: Complying with the Tennessee Plumbing Code

Delivery Method: Live Online

Course Description: This six-hour course provides an analysis of the Tennessee Plumbing Code and its enforcement, as well as an in-depth examination of chapters 1-15. The course will discuss the design requirements and provide compliance strategies.

Learning Objectives:

Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to discuss the applicability of the 2015 International Plumbing Code in Tennessee, review the process for obtaining approvals and permits, and participate in inspections and testing.

Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to reference and comply with Tennessee Plumbing Code requirements for fixtures, faucets, fittings, water heaters, water supply, and distribution.

Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to adhere to the Tennessee Plumbing Code requirements for sanitary drainage, indirect/special waste, vents, traps, interceptors, and separators.

Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to analyze and discuss Tennessee Plumbing Code requirements for storm drainage, special piping, storage systems, non-potable systems and irrigation systems.
