Ms. Dunn received her undergraduate degree from UCLA, and her law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. She has represented developers, contractors, and subcontractors in all types of construction-related disputes for over 20 years. Ms. Dunn has had the honor of consulting with, and representing, some of the nation’s largest builders. She also has significant experience in
professional liability matters for architects, engineers, brokers, and agents. Ms. Dunn has spoken across the country on matters important to the construction and insurance industries. She is licensed to practice in Colorado, California, Washington, and Wyoming.

Scott J. Hawranek is the founding member of Aspire IP and has over a decade of experience.
His practice includes most areas of intellectual property law with an emphasis on intellectual property portfolio management and analysis, due diligence investigations, patent reexamination proceedings, and pre-litigation analysis. He has extensive experience prosecuting patent applications both domestically and abroad. Mr. Hawranek has counseled clients in a number of different technical
areas including medical devices, semiconductor devices and methods of making the same, consumer products, chemical-related inventions, electrical-related inventions, software, encryption, and business methods. He has previously practiced at major law firms in Washington, D.C. and Colorado, and as in-house counsel for a large international medical device company. Prior to his law firm
experience, Mr. Hawranek was a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office examining semiconductor devices and processes. Before starting his intellectual property career, Mr. Hawranek worked as a research and development engineer making semiconductor equipment.

Special Counsel at Hall & Evans, LLC in DenverMr. Ninneman is a member of the firm’s Construction and Design Practice Group representing construction and design professionals on commercial, governmental and residential projects with respect to early project risk assessment, licensure, project management, contract drafting and negotiation, lien prosecution, pre-litigation claim resolution and mediation, litigation in state and federal courts, binding arbitration, and appeals. He is the co-author of Hard Hat Case Notes, a quarterly article in The Construction Lawyer, the ABA Forum on Construction Law national publication, for which he is also a contributing editor. Mr. Ninneman is a co-author on the desk reference comparison of the 2007 and 2017 AIA A201 General Conditions, which is due for publication in 2017.

John R. Riley is an equity shareholder at Montgomery Little & Soran, PC, and he has been the managing partner since 2010. He practices in general litigation matters with an emphasis on construction, engineer, architect, and auto accident claims. Mr. Riley’s work experience includes
personal injury claims, contract disputes and professional license matters before state licensing agencies. He is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Riley’s trial and arbitration experience includes more than 30 cases presented to juries, judges, and arbitrators. During a nine-month time
period, Mr. Riley had five civil trials including back-to-back week long jury trials for two separate engineering clients. Mr. Riley’s writing and appellate experience includes appeal briefs and oral arguments to the Colorado Supreme Court, the Colorado Court of Appeals and to the Tenth Circuit
Court of Appeals. His appellate work has resulted in fifteen published opinions. In law school, Mr. Riley was on the Iowa Law Review and served as an associate editor. He served on the Judicial Performance Commission for the Denver District and County Court. Mr. Riley passed both the Iowa
Bar (now inactive) and the Colorado Bar during the same summer following law school.

Kelley G. Shirk is a member at Hall & Evans, LLC, where she supports the Construction & Design, Public Entity, and Real Estate practice groups. Her trial practice includes construction defect defense, contract and complex commercial litigation disputes, professional liability defense, land use litigation, and other property law disputes. In addition to her litigation background, Ms. Shirk also provides counseling to a variety of public entities, nonprofits, businesses, and corporations, along with representing clients in transactional matters related to real estate law. Her litigation practice provides a unique perspective when allocating risks in contracts to avoid common pitfalls that lead to or escalate litigation.
