Speakers

Martin Bonzi

Transportation Program Manager at Clean Energy Economy for the Region (CLEER)

Colorado state and local governments have set long-term goals for zeroing out emissions and transitioning to clean energy. CLEER’s role is to help create the necessary annual progress focusing on ramping up renewables, decarbonizing transportation and maximizing resource efficiency. CLEER helped develop what is now ReCharge Colorado, a state program that helps consumers, fleet managers, and transit agencies switch to electric vehicles and provides technical assistance to install electric charging facilities. CLEER also developed and manages Garfield Clean Energy’s energy-efficiency programs, and assists municipalities in updating their energy codes. Mr. Bonzi graduated as an Economist from the University of Buenos Aires and has been focusing his career on Energy Economics and Renewable Energy. He was formerly a Photovoltaic Associate with the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners with professional experience designing and installing solar PV systems.

Mike Salisbury

Director of Transportation Programs Colorado Energy Office

Mr. Salisbury began work as the Colorado Energy Office’s Director of Transportation Programs in 2024. In that role he oversees programs that advance transportation electrification including supporting the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations, electric vehicles, e-bikes and other electrified mobility options. Prior to working at CEO he worked for the City and County of Denver’s Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency to deploy sustainable transportation solutions such as e-bikes rebates, e-bike libraries, electric carshare and EV charging stations. Previously, He worked at the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project focusing on state and local policies to promote transit, active transportation and electric vehicles. Mr. Salisbury received a Masters degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware and a BA from Pomona College.

Kelly Tatum

Owner and Master Electrician with EV Plug Pros, LLC

Ms. Tatum has a passion for sustainability, EV Plug Pros, LLC was formed in 2020 as a pilot project to test the viability around electric vehicle (EV) charger installations. Since its inception, EV Plug Pros, LLC has proudly helped the Colorado Energy Office with its EV fleet program, provided charging for electric school buses, and helped numerous communities charge their EVs. The goal has always remained simple: to provide a safe, reliable, convenient, and cost savings solution to charge an EV.
