Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. Course Description: This course examines the basics of solar photovoltaic (PV) energy systems, solar PV economics, system siting and sizing, materials and design, codes, wiring connections and commissioning.
Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to discuss the science and technology behind air-source heat pumps, including indoor thermal comfort, the principles of heat transfer, the refrigeration cycle, and the various components of heat pumps.
Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to analyze the efficiency, economics and operations of air-source heat pumps, including energy savings, operation in subfreezing temperatures, hybrid pumps and more.
Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to appropriately size systems based on the needs of the building and occupants, as well as locate exterior and interior units and configure refrigerant lines and wiring.

Learners will be able to discuss mini-split systems, their applications, sizing, and locating exterior and interior units.
