Before undertaking any self-study effort, you should review the rules of your licensing/certifying entity. It’s your responsibility to determine whether or not this self-study course meets your continuing education requirements.
You must take and pass a quiz in order to receive credit. You can take the quiz as many times as needed and there is no time limit on the quiz. Once the quiz is completed, you will be asked to download your certificate.
Videos that qualify for AIA, LACES, ASLA, or CLARB credit will require an extra week for processing.

Course Description: This course is a detailed examination of construction contact terminology, types of construction contracts, roles and relationships of project participants, select AIA contract documents, and ethical issues in construction contracting.

Learners will be able to know when to use AIA Standard forms A101-2017, A102-2017, B101-2017, A133-2009, and A401-2017, and they will be able to identify the obligations and project participant relationships that are created by those agreements.

Learners will be able to identify changes to AIA A201: General Conditions affecting project participant relationships, changes in work, time, payments and completion, protection of persons and property, insurance and bonds, defects and correction of work, termination, suspension, claims and disputes.
