Webinar Instructions
Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly recommended that you download, install and test the application before the webinar begins by clicking on the link in the email.

Continuing Education Credit Information
This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 7.0 PDHs for professional engineers, 7.0 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects, and 7.0 PDHs for land surveyors in qualifying states. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

HalfMoon Education has not applied for land surveyor continuing education approval in states requiring such.

California engineers, land surveyors and landscape architects do not have a continuing education requirement. This webinar offers those California professionals a 7.0-hour learning opportunity.

The Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System has approved this course for 7.0 HSW PDHs. Only full participation is reportable to the LA CES.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Aerial Education

Mr. Miller is passionate about teaching UAS and geospatial education and leverages his experience in his current role as a professor in the Bay Area. Outside of academia, Mr. Miller is a technical trainer and entrepreneur. He started his business, Aerial Education, in 2018 to provide the highest level training and consulting in the drone mapping industry. Mr. Miller’s interest in UAS began in 2013 when he started doing research for his master’s thesis. His blog,, chronicles that research. Mr. Miller is pursuing a PhD in Geomatics Engineering at the University of Colorado, Denver.
