All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Course Title: 2025 California Commercial Energy Code

Course Description: This 6.5-hour course provides a comprehensive review of the 2025 California Energy Code, focusing on how its requirements affect the design, documentation, and construction of commercial buildings. Instruction examines compliance pathways, building envelope and system requirements, electrification provisions, and the treatment of existing buildings so professionals can confidently apply the code in practice.

Learning Objectives: 

Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to explain the structure, scope, and enforcement process of the 2025 California Energy Code, including recent amendments and adoption timelines.

Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to apply commercial energy-efficiency requirements for building envelopes, mechanical systems, service water heating, lighting, electrical power, and renewable energy systems.

Learning Objective 3: Learners will be able to evaluate available compliance paths and determine appropriate documentation and commissioning requirements.

Learning Objective 4: Learners will be able to assess how the code addresses electrification and existing buildings, including additions, alterations, changes of use, and historic structures.
