All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Continuing Education Credit Information
This seminar and webcast are open to the public and are designed to qualify for 6.0 PDHs for professional engineers in Texas. The Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors does not pre-approve any courses, seminars, presentations, or other activities to meet the CEP requirement.

HalfMoon Education is an approved CM Provider with the American Planning Association. This course is registered for CM | 6 for Certified Planners.

The International Code Council has approved this course for .6 CEUs in the specialty area of Administration (Preferred Provider No. 1232).

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Speakers

George Lueck, P.E.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)

Mr. Lueck, P.E., has 17 years of experience with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). He started his career performing design and surveying for a variety of roadway projects ranging from farm-to-market roads, urban roadways, and high design speed facilities in the Waco district. Mr. Lueck later transferred to the construction division, where he provided oversight to statewide districts in the areas of construction project management, construction engineering, inspection, and contract claims. After serving in this capacity for over 9 years, he transferred to the transportation planning division. As Assistant Director of Traffic Analysis, he oversaw transportation data collection and reporting, corridor-level plans, and travel demand modeling. Mr. Lueck then served the City of Killeen for 11 years as Assistant City Engineer and Director of Transportation. He had oversight of all operations of the city’s transportation system. Mr. Lueck also ensured that the city’s transportation system was planned, constructed, and maintained in a cost-effective manner to effectively address the region’s growing safety, mobility, and reliability needs. For the last 9 years, Mr. Lueck is self-employed as an independent consultant providing services to local governments and civil engineering firms in a variety of services ranging from proposal development/review, transportation plans, dispute resolution, plan review, street, and traffic operations analysis.
