This seminar is open to the public and offers 7.0 PDHs to professional engineers and 7.0 HSW continuing education hours to architects in most states, including Idaho. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Idaho.
This program also offers a non-credit continuing education opportunity to Idaho landscape architects, geologists and contractors. The Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System has approved this course for 7.0 HSW PDHs. Only full attendance canbe reported to the LA/CES.
This course is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 7.0 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885). Only full attendance can be reported to the AIA/CES.

Speakers
David Cram
Materials Testing and Inspection (MTI), LLCProfessional Geotechnical Engineer, Materials Testing and Inspection (MTI), LLC in Boise
Mr. Cram is a senior engineer and principal of Materials Testing and Inspection (MTI), LLC. He started MTI in June of 1994. Prior to this, Mr. Cram worked at Materials Testing Corporation as a staff engineer performing construction inspection/testing and geotechnical investigations throughout the northwest. He completed undergraduate engineering course work at Boise State University and the University of Idaho, and graduate level course work from University of Idaho and University of Missouri-Rolla, with an emphasis in Geotechnics. Mr. Cram is a member of Geoprofessional Business Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He has over 29 years of construction and geotechnical engineering experience, with specialized expertise in dealing with constructability issues pertaining to challenging site soil conditions.
Jacob Schlador

Mr. Schlador is a geotechnical engineer at Materials Testing and Inspection, an Atlas Company. He started at MTI in May of 2014, after studying Civil Engineering at Gonzaga University. Mr. Schlador has worked on many different commercial projects as a geotechnical engineer and conducting special inspections. He has worked on many different design teams around the greater Boise area. Mr. Schlador has over four years of geotechnical and construction experience.
Clint Wyllie
Materials Testing and Inspection (MTI), LLCStaff Geologist, Materials Testing and Inspection (MTI), LLC, in Boise
Mr. Wyllie works as a staff geologist for Materials Testing & Inspection (MTI) in Boise. He started working with MTI in May of 2016 after attending Boise State University. Mr. Wyllie’s responsibilities at MTI include performing geotechnical investigations and preparing corresponding geotechnical engineering reports, with a focus on hillside development. He has worked on numerous slope stabilization projects in the Boise area as well as other parts of the Pacific Northwest.
