Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and offers 7.0 PDHs to professional engineers and 7.0 HSW CEPHs/PDHs continuing education hours to architects and interior designers in most states, including Texas. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Texas.

The American Institute of Architects has approved this event for 7.0 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885). Only full attendance can be reported to the AIA/CES.

The Texas Code Enforcement Officer Registration Program has approved HalfMoon Education as a continuing education provider. This course offers 7.0 continuing education hours.

The International Code Council has approved this event for .7 CEUs in the specialty area of Building.

This seminar offers contractors a non-credit continuing education opportunity, but it has not been submitted to any state contractor licensing entity for continuing education approval.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.

Donald Stafford

Founder and Principal of Stafford Inspections

Since founding Stafford Inspections in 1984, Mr. Stafford has performed more than 12,000 inspections and has trained and mentored over 250 inspectors. His memberships and professional affiliations include the American Society of Home Inspectors, the International Code Council, and the National Association of Wastewater Technicians. Certifications include technical trainer and field trainer through the American Home Inspectors Training Institute, International Code Council Residential Combination Code Certification (2006) and Resnet Energy Audit Certification (2010). As a restoration specialist (1979-1998), he was the recipient of two awards for renovations to historically significant residences. Mr. Stafford is also president of Real Estate Training Systems, a proprietary school in the state of Texas providing continuing education real estate courses for home inspection licensees.
