Continuing Education Credit Information
This seminar is open to the public and offers 6.5 PDHs to professional engineers and 6.5 HSW continuing education hours to architects in all states. Educators and courses are not subject to pre-approval in Michigan.
This course has been approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.5 HSW Learning Units (Provider No. J885). Only full attendance can be reported to the AIA.

Matthew Hunt
Walker ConsultantsMr. Hunt is the director of restoration for Walker Consultants’ Michigan office. He specializes in repair and maintenance of parking structures and building facades. He oversees and performs restoration condition appraisals, design of repairs, and construction observations and administration during implementation of repairs. Mr. Hunt also performs asset management planning work to assist facility owners with long term planning and budgeting aimed at maximizing the useful service life of their facilities. Mr. Hunt received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, and he is a registered engineer in the States of Michigan and Ohio.
R. Jeppesen
Walker ConsultantsAs a principal and parking Consultant with Walker Consultants, Mr. Jeppesen works with clients to identify their parking needs and determine the appropriate approach for meeting those needs. He is responsible for making sure project requirements are matched with Walker team members who have the necessary expertise and experience. Mr. Jeppesen works with a wide variety of clients including municipalities, government agencies, hospitals, universities, and developers. With each group, he provides consulting services for parking structure functional design, restoration, and parking planning services. Mr. Jeppesen is in his 26th year with Walker Consultants. His prior experience includes 14 years of experience in nearly every job that exists in a municipal parking system.
Rick Klein
Walker ConsultantsVice President and Managing Principal of Walker Consultant’s Michigan office
Mr. Klein is vice president and managing principal of Walker Consultant’s Michigan office. He has more than 20 years of experience in the parking industry including new parking structure design, restoration, functional design consulting, studies, and car park management systems. He has worked to develop effective parking solutions and asset management plans for various client types including developers, municipalities, universities, hospitals, casinos and private corporations. Mr. Klein received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Michigan, and he is a registered engineer in the States of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.
