Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and is approved for 6.5 CLE hours, including 1.0 ethics hour, for Texas attorneys. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization has awarded 6.5 hours in the areas of Administrative Law, Civil Appellate Law, Civil Trial Law, Oil, Gas and Mineral Law, and Real Estate Law.

This seminar offers 6.5 PDHs, including 1.0 ethics hour, to Texas professional engineers.

The American Association of Professional Landmen has approved this program for 5.5 RL, RPL or CPL recertification credits,1.0 ethics credit, and no CPL/ESA credits.

The Texas Board of Legal Specialization has approved this course for 6.5 Civil Trial Law and 6.5 Real Estate Law CLE credits for Texas paralegals.

Attendance will be monitored and reported, as required. Attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.

Mr. Wilhelm focuses his practice on oil and gas law, probate, wills and estate planning, commercial litigation, and representation of foreign businesses that invest in oil and gas activities. His oil and gas work focuses on the real estate side (oil and gas title examinations, acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas interests, due diligence, and commercial negotiations). Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Wilhelm worked as a petroleum landman in over 15 Texas counties. Mr. Wilhelm earned his J.D. degree from the Tulane University Law School in New Orleans.
