Continuing Education Credit Information
This seminar is open to the public and offers up to 6.5 HSW contact hours to architects and 6.5 PDHs to professional engineers in all states. HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education provider for New Jersey engineers (Approval No. 24GP00000700).
This event has been approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.5 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885). Courses approved by the AIA qualify for New Jersey architects.
HalfMoon Education has applied to the New Jersey Board of Architects for landscape architect continuing education approval. The application is under review and credits are pending. The Landscape Architect Continuing Education System has approved this event for 6.5 HSW PDHs.
The Association of State Floodplain Managers has approved this seminar for 6.5 CECs for certified floodplain managers.
This seminar also offers a non-mandatory education opportunity for contractors; it has not been approved in any state which has a contractor continuing education requirement.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.
Speakers
Darin DeKoskie
Integrated Engineering Solutions, LLCPrincipal, Integrated Engineering Solutions, LLCIntegrated Engineering Solutions was founded in 2007 as a multi-disciplinary-civil engineering consulting firm providing infrastructure, residential and commercial development and municipal design services for the public and private sectors. The firm’s focus is in stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and hydrology and hydraulics. Mr. DeKoskie brings over 14 years of engineering expertise, including work in both the private and public sectors, along with specific state-of-the- art technology to achieve efficient, cost saving design solutions. Mr. DeKoskie provides client consultation, project scoping, cost and service agreement documents, along with overall land development budgeting, project invoicing, staff assignment and supervision. He also provides hydrology and hydraulic studies and reports along with general civil engineering support for private and municipal consultants. Mr. DeKoskie earned his AS degree in Engineering Science from SUNY Ulster, a BS degree in Environmental Resource Engineering from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), and an MS degree in Water Resource Engineering from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). Mr. DeKoskie is employed by New York City as an Administrative Engineer.
