For AIA requirements only, the on-demand recording will have occasional question prompts that will not allow the video to progress unless they are answered, and you will not be able to skip forward while watching the video.
Please note, if you attempt to resume watching the video on a separate device, your progress will not be saved.

Continuing Education Credit Information
This seminar is open to the public and offers 6.5 HSW continuing education hours to engineers and 6.5 HSW continuing education hours to architects in most states, including Tennessee. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Tennessee.
This seminar is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.5 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885). Only full attendance can be reported to the AIA/CES.

This seminar offers a non-credit continuing education opportunity to construction contractors. It has not been approved by any state contractor licensing board for mandatory continuing education credit.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.
Speakers
Marc Knisley
Hodge Engineering Company Director of Energy Services with Hodge Engineering Company in Knoxville, TN
Mr. Knisley has 18 years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems. He has been a professional engineer since 2001 and is registered in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Alabama. Mr. Knisley has been the engineer of record on various facility types including offices, schools, churches, manufacturing facilities, restaurants, correctional facilities, health care facilities, and retail spaces. He has experience in energy auditing and performance, HVAC design, plumbing, process piping, and fire protection. Mr. Knisley earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
His representative project experience includes:
Energy audits of over 100 schools across the state of Tennessee
HVAC and plumbing system design for offices at the TVA Belefonte Nuclear Power Plant in Alabama
HVAC and process piping system design for several buildings at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory
HVAC and plumbing system design for three welcome centers in Cherokee, NC, including one that was designed to achieve “net zero” energy usage
HVAC and plumbing system design for a LEED Silver office building in Knoxville, TN
Complete replacement of the HVAC system in a courthouse in Morgan County, TN
HVAC and plumbing system design for industrial facilities in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Alabama
