Gilead R. Ziemba , P.E., M.Sc., PMSFPE

Mr. Ziemba is a licensed engineer (Fire Protection Branch) in ten states. He has specialized in the design of fire protection and life safety systems for the past 19 years and regularly consults with owners, architects, and developers on fire and building code compliance of all types. Mr. Ziemba co-founded Fire Protection Consulting Group in 2013 and now, with 18 full-time employees and six licensed FPEs, he leads the engineering staff and manages challenging projects. He has received a B.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with distinction, and a M.S. degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Massachusetts. He recently served six years as the executive director at large for the San Antonio chapter of Professional Engineers in Private Practice, three years as president and secretary/treasurer of the Cypress Cove Water Supply Corporation in Spring Branch, Texas, and over four years in several leadership roles, including president of the San Antonio-Austin Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Mr. Ziemba is a professional member of SFPE International, a member of the National Fire Protection Agency, and a member of the International Code Council.
