    John T. Banjak

    John T. Banjak is a principal and general counsel of True Title Company, LLC, a full-service residential and commercial title agency based in St. Louis, Missouri, and managing member of Banjak & Associates, a law firm specializing in real estate, business transactions and estate planning. John earned his B.S. degree in Finance from Indiana University and his J.D. Law from Washington University in St. Louis. He has extensive experience in all facets of the title insurance & real estate industries from a legal, title underwriting and consulting standpoint. Before opening True Title in 2012, John served as president and general counsel for three reputable St. Louis title agencies and as regional underwriting counsel for a national title insurance underwriter. He also served as senior vice president and general counsel for Pulaski Bank. Prior to entering the title insurance field, John worked as a private practice attorney and as an assistant attorney general for the state of Missouri. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri & Illinois and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.

He has more than 30 years’ experience as a professional land surveyor, beginning in the Chicago metropolitan area. Mr. Olsen is currently licensed as a land surveyor in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Texas. He has been fortunate to have worked on numerous Highway Department/Department of Transportation horizontal and vertical control surveys, land acquisition and topographic surveys, County Transportation Department Plats of Highway, and Municipal Highway Department surveys. Mr. Olsen has also worked on many commercial and residential developments throughout northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana. He is currently enrolled in the University of Maine Graduate School in the Eng. D. (Doctor of Engineering) Engineering Technology/Surveying Engineering Program. Mr. Olsen has an MS in Engineering Technology/Surveying Engineering from the University of Maine and a BA in Mathematical Sciences.     Paul G. Henry

    Mr. Henry received his undergraduate degree in 1987 from Missouri State University where he graduated cum laude and his law degree in 1990 from Washington University, St. Louis. He serves as the only Missouri member of the Owners’ Counsel of America. This organization is by invitation only and consists of fewer than 50 eminent domain attorneys from across the entire United States who represent property owners in eminent domain/condemnation matters. Mr. Henry has served The Missouri Bar in many capacities over the years. He currently is the chair of the Eminent Domain Committee. In the past, he has served as a member of the Board of Governors and as chair of several committees. His efforts on behalf of the Bar were recognized when he was awarded the Distinctive Service Award by the Solo and Small Firm Committee of The Missouri Bar. Mr. Henry was an associate editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly and is the co-author of numerous publications on eminent domain law, including: Trial of Exceptions in Missouri Condemnation Cases, St. Louis Bar Journal (Spring 2007); Inverse Condemnation: Airplane Noise and Damages, The Southwestern Legal Foundation, 1995; and two chapters in the Missouri Condemnation Practice Handbook (Third Edition, 2002 Supp.), co-authoring chapters on Inverse Condemnation and Taxation. He is a former editor of the American Bar Association Committee on Condemnation Newsletter. Mr. Henry is a frequent speaker on issues pertaining to eminent domain law. Another interest of Mr. Henry is the use of technology in the practice of law.

    Meghan S. Largent

    Ms. Largent serves as a Practice Group Leader for the Rails to Trails practice group. Her primary focus is representing landowners nationwide whose property has been taken by the federal government without just compensation. In addition to establishing when the government is liable for taking land, Ms. Largent’s practice centers largely on establishing the value of the land taken. She also focuses her practice on appellate litigation and commercial disputes. Ms. Largent has assisted in drafting dozens of appellate briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Eighth Circuit, and Eleventh Circuit, as well as the Supreme Court and Appellate Courts of Illinois and Appellate Court of Missouri.
