William A. Lascara is managing shareholder of Pender & Coward, P.C., in Virginia Beach, and he is the firm’s chief financial officer. He practices in business and commercial law. He received a J.D. degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. Mr. Lascara is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, and the Virginia Beach Bar Association. He also serves on the Council of the Construction and Public Contract Law Section of the Virginia Bar Association. He has frequently lectured on construction and public contracts law. Mr. Lascara was voted as one of Virginia’s “Legal Elite” for Construction Law in Virginia Business Magazine.
