Walter Gerstle

Professor Emeritus at New Mexico State University  
Dr. Gerstle received undergraduate education from Harvey Mudd College and from the University of Colorado, and MS and PhD degrees from Cornell University. He has been a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of New Mexico for 33 years, and is now Professor Emeritus there. He is past president of the New Mexico Chapter of ASCE, NMSPE, and the UNM Chapter of Sigma Xi. Dr. Gerstle is currently the Secretary of the New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors.
