Teresa Smithson , GISP, PLS

Project Surveyor at Jacobs Engineering Group in DenverMs. Smithson has more than 20 years of experience in land surveying and is employed by Jacobs Engineering Group. She earned a master’s degree in Geospatial Surveying Engineering from Texas A&M and is currently a PhD student at the University of Colorado – Denver working to integrate survey data and GIS systems. Her published articles about surveying include Rules of the Game: Coordinates as Boundary Evidence. Ms. Smithson is an active member of the geospatial community, and she is on the Board of Directors for both Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado (PLSC) and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA).
