Ms. Jorgensen graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. She has 30 years of experience in structural design and project management. Ms. Jorgensen has served as a managing principal and director of operations for an architectural and engineering office. She currently is a senior project manager for Integral Engineering in Centennial, Colorado, and a quality control manager for Studio NYL in Boulder, Colorado. Ms. Jorgensen serves as the vice president of the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations and has been a speaker at the SEI Structures Conference. A licensed professional engineer in 16 states, Ms. Jorgensen has earned a number of awards and recognitions including the W. Gene Corley Award from SEI, the Service Award from NCSEA, and she is a Fellow in SEI and ASCE.
