Regina Y. Speed-Bost advises a wide range of clients and market participants in the Energy & Natural Resources sector including renewable energy companies, electric utilities, natural gas companies, and local distribution companies on a variety of matters related to energy administrative and regulatory law. Her previous experience working for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) gives her a unique ability to communicate between business interests, regulators, and engineers. Ms. Speed-Bost understands business objectives and translates that knowledge into results for her clients. She has a thorough understanding of the role the energy sector plays in the health of the overall economy, and she applies that fundamental knowledge to her practice. Ms. Speed-Bost works on cases of first impression throughout the energy industry, including landmark rate and tariff cases, enforcement and compliance matters, administrative litigation, as well as policy matters and appellate cases. She serves as a professional lecturer in law at the George Washington University Law School, where she teaches energy law and regulation.
