Jon Sheppard

President of Atlantic-Testing

Mr. Sheppard is a principal partner and president of Atlantic Testing, Inc, where he oversees all aspects of the firm’s commissioning, retro-commissioning, testing and balancing, sound & vibration, and building envelope testing activities. He has extensive experience in whole building systems testing and has been in the industry for over 25 years. Mr. Sheppard serves on the Board of Directors for NEBB and is currently the president-elect for 2021. Mr. Sheppard has served on, and chaired, both the Building Systems Commissioning and TAB Committees for NEBB. Mr. Sheppard is also an ACG Certified CxA. He has created and taught several certification courses, including Testing, Adjusting and Balancing for Certified Professionals and for Certified Technicians; Technical Commissioning for Professionals; Retro-Commissioning; and Commissioning Technician review seminars. Mr. Sheppard is a frequent speaker for NEBB, ASHRAE, and other organizations within the industry. He lives in Powhatan, Virginia, and is interested in music and watching his son tour with Drum Corp International during the summers.
