Mr. Flint works as a project manager and technical director for O’Neill Service Group, a firm engaged in construction quality assurance inspection and materials inspection in Redmond, Washington, and an educator in several disciplines of special inspection. He began his career in special inspection in 1999 for AAR Testing Laboratory in Redmond, working on a wide variety of commercial structures. In 2012 Mr. Flint accepted the position of quality testing supervisor and technical director for O’Neill Service Group. Notable projects include the SR520 Eastside Corridor upgrades as part of the floating bridge replacement projects and the Sound Transit Link light rail S 200th extension. In 2004 he began presenting courses for the Northwest Council of Engineering Labs, a consortium of material testing agencies in the Puget Sound region that provides classroom training for special inspectors. Courses currently presented by Mr. Flint include concrete placement and batch plant inspection, reinforced concrete inspection, structural masonry, shotcrete, lateral wood/cold formed steel framing inspection and proprietary anchors inspection. Mr. Flint has also been part of the pilot program for the ACI/CRSI certified anchor installer program for contractors in the Puget Sound region.
