Mr. Garbo provides legal advice on and litigates construction and commercial matters. He principally represents construction professionals including contractors, engineers, architects, developers, subcontractors, suppliers, lenders, real estate investment trusts, and construction owners. Mr. Garbo advises clients on every aspect of a project and the construction business, including contracting; risk-mitigation practices; claims, liens, and bonds; guidance to resolve project issues and disputes; and litigation and arbitration. He also represents businesses on a wide array of commercial issues. Mr. Garbo regularly presents to construction-industry associations and clients on a wide variety of legal issues, and frequently publishes updates on construction law. As the fourth generation in his family to participate in the construction industry, Mr. Garbo worked for various construction trades while obtaining his business and law degrees, and now applies his first-hand experience in the construction industry to representing his clients.
